Medical microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive procedure that uses a precision device with fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. This process stimulates the body’s natural wound-healing response, encouraging the production of new collagen and elastin.

The result is improved skin tone and texture, reduced appearance of fine lines, scars, and sun damage, and a healthier, more resilient complexion. As a licensed acupuncturist and board-certified integrative health professional, treatments are delivered with the same attention to balance, safety, and whole-body wellness that defines the Healing Source approach.

*Results vary by individual. Medical microneedling is performed using FDA-cleared devices in a sterile environment by a licensed practitioner.*

Getting to Know Dr. Eliana

Dr. Eliana Combes is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, a Licensed Acupuncturist, and a Nationally Board-Certified Integrative Health Coach. At Healing Source Integrative Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-informed care that that blends the wisdom of Eastern medicine with the insights of modern healthcare to promote true whole-person wellness. Her work helps people restore balance, build resilience, and experience measurable improvements in both physical and emotional health.

Her approach follows the classical “root-and-branch” model of Eastern medicine, which addresses both the symptoms (“branches”) and the deeper causes (“roots”) that create imbalance. Imbalance, in Western terms, may show up as the development of an illness, arise during the recovery process from an injury, and/or may present as stress or un-ease in any area of a person’s personal and professional life. Known for her gentle technique and mindful presence, Dr. Combes treats every individual with a light, comfortable touch that prioritizes their mental wellbeing and positive experience, while also maintaining therapeutic precision.

Dr. Combes’ clinical and coaching services include acupuncture, health and wellness coaching, herbal medicine, nutritional and supplementation consultations, medical microneedling (percutaneous collagen induction for facial rejuvenation or treatment of scars), and therapeutic bodywork such as Tui Na massage and cupping. By providing this complementary array of personalized services, she helps people carry the benefits of care into their everyday routines, bridging the gap between knowing what to do and being able to do it. She has a strong commitment to helping people integrate healthy routines and lifestyle choices into their daily lives, rather than limiting care to what happens within a single appointment.

Her journey toward integrative medicine began with the birth of her two sons. When her children were born, she sought natural, preventive ways to create a healthier life for her family, discovering firsthand the power of combining traditional and modern healing. She later earned her doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and completed professional certification in Integrative Health Coaching through Duke Health & Wellbeing at Duke University School of Medicine.

At Healing Source Integrative Health, Dr. Combes views every person as an interconnected whole. Whether someone seeks support for pain, fertility, cancer treatment support and recovery, or overall lifestyle transformation, her mission remains constant: to provide gentle, results-oriented care that helps each individual access their body’s innate capacity to heal. She is deeply committed to bridging the best of both worlds - scientific rigor and the compassionate art of healing - to support people’s journey to attain their optimal wellness potential.
